Tech 6 

Quarter 1

The main goal of Tech 6 is to practice typing and work on skills using Microsoft Office products.  My students use Chromebooks for all of their classes, and the Chromebooks utilize the office applications available through Office 365.  As 7th graders, the students will have laptops with full versions of all of the Office products; so what we cover using Office 365 is a good beginning.

I also want the students to learn about technology and emerging technology.  I gave the students a survey at the beginning of the year to see what topics involving technology or computers they would like to learn about for this year.  This page displays the topics we worked on and discussed during Quarter 1.
